Scarce Elgin “Clubman 163” men’s Machine Age design wristwatch in 14K white gold fill, circa 1931.

The "Clubman 163" has a hinged case with flexible, faceted lugs and a striking gray and white dial with embossed exploding Roman numerals. It was priced at $50.00 in 1931. It is very scarce, this is only the second example I have ever offered. It is in crisp excellent condition with no brassing. Caseback is excellent and unengraved,. The case measures 38mm long and 28mm wide. Original dial is excellent, has gold embossed exploding numerals set on a gray pebbled background. Has new glass crystal. This watch is powered by its correct 15-jewel Elgin grade 484 manual wind movement, just serviced and running strong.
