Elgin “Home Run 1600” men’s Art Deco design wristwatch in 14K white gold fill, circa 1931.

The “Home Run 1600” has an unusual sculpted case with Art Deco engravings set in panels on the bezel. It was priced at $37.50 in 1931. This example is in excellent condition with crisp engravings and only a couple of tiny specks of brassing to the bezel corners. Curved caseback is excellent, with a Masonic presentation engraving. The case measures 36mm long and 28mm wide. Original two-tone dial is very good, with some patina, and has gold embossed numerals. Has new glass crystal. The watch is powered by its correct 15-jewel Elgin grade 428 manual wind movement, just serviced and running strong.
