Rare Elgin “Model 802” men’s Streamline Moderne design wristwatch in solid 14K white gold, circa 1929.

The case design of the "Model 802" was one of Elgin's first factory-cased solid gold men's wristwatch models, debuting around 1927 as the "Style No. 41." It is a rare watch and this is the first I have offered with the gold numeral dial. It was priced at $100.00 in 1929. It is in crisp, excellent condition showing only very slight wear. Caseback is superb and unengraved. The case measures 36mm long and 24mm wide. Factory original, new old stock dial is superb. Has new glass crystal. This watch is powered by its correct 17-jewel Elgin grade 483 manual wind movement, just serviced and running strong.

Price $750. SOLD
