Uncommon Elgin Model 2408 men's Art Deco design wristwatch in steel, circa 1937.

The "Model 2408" has a large case with angled lugs and was priced at $33.75 in 1937. It  is an uncommon model and this is the first I have ever offered. This example is in excellent condition with all of its alternating polished and brushed finishes intact. The caseback is very good and unengraved, with some light scratches. Original two-tone gilt and silver finish dial is very good. Case measures 39mm long by 30mm wide. Has new glass crystal. The watch is powered by its correct 7-jewel Elgin grade 485 manual wind movement, just serviced and running strong.
