Uncommon Hamilton “Greenwich” men’s Streamline Moderne design wristwatch in 14K yellow gold fill, circa 1930.
The “Greenwich” has a fantastic streamlined triple-stepped case with rounded corners and grooved sides, along with subtle stepped lugs. Fairly uncommon, a mere 7,800 examples were made in yellow. This example has the scarce dial variation (dial No. 053) with black Gothic numerals. This example is in excellent condition with just some very light brassing to the bezel corners. The caseback is excellent and unengraved. Case measures 34mm long and 28mm wide. Original black enamel printed dial is very good. Has new glass crystal. The watch is powered by its correct Hamilton 17-jewel grade 987-F manual wind movement, just serviced and running strong.
