Very scarce Elgin "Touchdown 241" men's Art Deco design wristwatch in 14K white gold fill, circa 1930.

The "Touchdown 241" has a bezel with a hammered pattern and was priced at $35.00 in 1930. It shares the same casebody and caseback with the "Mermaid" and the "Touchdown 220" models. It is a very scarce watch and this is only the third one I have offered in 25 years. This example is in excellent condition with no brassing. Caseback is excellent and unengraved, with a few tiny dings. Case measures 33mm long and 25mm wide. Original dial is very good, with some light spotting and marks, has brilliant silver inlaid numerals. Has new glass crystal. The watch is powered by its correct 15-jewel Elgin grade 444 manual wind movement, just serviced and running strong.

Price $350. SOLD
