Elgin “Brickwork” men’s Machine Age design wristwatch in steel, circa 1936.

This jobber-cased watch has a stepped steel case with a brickwork design on the bezel and a recessed crown. It is in crisp, near mint condition showing almost no wear. The case retains all of its alternating frosted and polished finishes. Caseback is superb and unengraved. Case measures 39mm long and 21mm wide. Original dial is superb. Has new glass crystal. Watch is powered by a 15-jewel Elgin grade 484 manual wind movement, just serviced and running strong.
