Rare Hamilton “Brock Diamond Dial” men’s Streamline Moderne design wristwatch in solid 14K yellow gold, circa 1948.
Although the standard yellow “Brock” model isn’t hard to find, it is quite rare with a factory diamond dial. Hamilton offered diamond dials on a few of its high-end gold and platinum models in the late 1940s. The "Brock" was priced at $190.00 with the diamond dial, nearly twice as much as the standard "Brock" with the regular gold numeral dial. This is the first I have ever offered. This example is in excellent condition showing only light wear. Caseback is excellent, with a presentation engraving. The case measures 33mm long and 22mm wide. Refinished inlaid enamel dial has three factory-set diamonds and solid 18K gold applied numerals. Has new glass crystal. This watch is powered by its correct 19-jewel Hamilton grade 982M manual wind movement, just serviced and running strong.
