Uncommon Hamilton “Turner” men’s Art Deco design wristwatch in 10K yellow gold fill, circa 1935.
The “Turner” has a very distinct, casket-shaped case and elegant applied gold markers. It is a fairly uncommon watch, with only 6,157 produced in yellow. It was priced at $40.00 in 1935 with the gold marker dial. This example is in very good condition with only a little brassing to the bezel corners and lug tips. Caseback is superb and unengraved, with only a few small spots of wear in the corners. The case measures 39mm long and 27mm wide. Refinished dial is superb, has solid 18K applied markers. Has new glass crystal. This watch is powered by its correct 17-jewel Hamilton grade 987-E manual wind movement, just serviced and running strong.
