Scarce Elgin “Model 1066” men’s Machine Age design wristwatch in 14K white gold fill, circa 1932.
The "Model 1066" has a hinged case with flexible, faceted lugs and an enamel inlaid dial with fancy stylized numerals. It was priced at $47.50 in 1932. It is very scarce, this is the first example I have ever offered. It is in excellent condition with only light brassing to the bezel corners and lugs. Caseback is excellent and unengraved. The case measures 38mm long and 28mm wide. Original new old stock enamel inlaid dial is perfect. Has new glass crystal. This watch is powered by its correct 15-jewel Elgin grade 484 manual wind movement, just serviced and running strong.
