Very rare Longines "Model 4033" men's Art Deco design wristwatch in solid 14K two-tone green and white gold, circa 1929.

The "Model 4033" is large wristwatch with a curved and stepped case in green and white gold. It was priced at $170.00 in 1929 and is very rare, with this being one of only three I have ever seen. According to the Longines Archives in Switzerland, this example was invoiced on February 15, 1929 to A. Wittnauer Co. of New York, which was Longines' American agent and sales distributor. It is in excellent condition with showing only light wear. Caseback is excellent, with a name engraving. The case serial number matches the serial number on the movement. Caseback hinge pin is broken, but the case snaps together crisply. Case measures 42mm long and 26mm wide. Dial is very good, with some patina from age. Has new glass crystal. The watch is powered by its correct 15-jewel Longines grade 10.40 manual wind movement, just serviced and running strong.

Price $1,950. SOLD
