Scarce Elgin “Model 111” ladies' Art Deco design wristwatch in 14K white gold fill with green enamel, circa 1929.
In 1929, Elgin introduced a series of ladies watches with fabulous colored enamel designs. The “Model 111” was priced at $47.50. This example is in crisp, near mint condition with no brassing and perfect green enamel. Caseback is superb and unengraved, with all of its factory brushed finish. The case measures 30mm long and 17mm wide. Original dial is superb. Glass crystal is excellent. This watch is powered by its correct 15-jewel Elgin grade 484 manual wind movement, just serviced and running strong.
