Scarce Hamilton “Grant” men’s Streamline Moderne design wristwatch in solid sterling silver, circa 1933.
The “Grant” in sterling silver is a scarce watch, with only 3,403 examples produced. It was priced at $42.50 in 1933. This example is in excellent condition, showing only light wear. Unpolished case has a pleasing patina. Caseback is excellent and unengraved, with one small ding. Case measures 36mm long and 28mm wide. Aged two-tone luminous dial is excellent, with beautiful vintage patina. I can supply a perfectly restored dial with blue luminous for a modest additional charge (see first photo). Has new glass crystal. The watch is powered by its correct 17-jewel Hamilton grade 987-F manual wind movement, just serviced and running strong.
