Scarce Hamilton “Cushion” men’s Modern design wristwatch in solid 14K green gold, circa 1925.
The "Cushion" was Hamilton's first 6/0-size men's wristwatch and was introduced in 1922. It is scarce in solid green gold, with only 2,769 produced. This example is in excellent condition showing only very light wear. The green gold case has developed a gorgeous patina with hues of deep orange, and hints of violet. I can lightly polish the case to a uniform color if desired. Caseback is excellent and unengraved. Case measures 35mm long and 27mm wide. Refinished luminous dial is superb. Has new glass crystal. This watch is powered by its correct 17-jewel Hamilton grade 986A manual wind movement, just serviced and running strong.
