Very scarce Hamilton "Cushion" men's Modern design wristwatch in solid 14K white gold, circa 1923.

This is the very first version of the white gold 6/0-size "Cushion" and was introduced in July of 1923. These initial versions were made by the Fahys Watch Case Co. and have a case with long lugs, a denticled outer caseback, and engine-turned inner caseback. The later versions were made by Wadsworth. It was priced at $75.00 in 1923 and only 1,808 examples of all variations of the white gold "Cushion" were sold through the end of production a few years later. This example is excellent condition showing only light wear. Caseback is excellent and unengraved. Case measures 35mm long and 27mm wide. Original dial is excellent. Has new glass crystal. The watch is powered by its correct 17-jewel Hamilton grade 986A manual wind movement, just serviced and running strong.
