Scarce Hamilton “Mason” men's Streamline Moderne design wristwatch in 10K yellow gold fill, circa 1936.

The "Mason" was catalogued only in 1935, although Hamilton continued to sell it for several years afterward. A total of 9,366 watches were produced in yellow. It was priced at $37.50 with the scarce black numeral dial. It has a simple Streamlined Moderne tonneau-shaped case with a subtle bezel step and a thin groove along the sides of the case. Not an easy watch to find without significant wear, this example is in crisp, excellent condition with only a few tiny specks of brassing. Caseback is superb and unengraved with no wear. The case measures 37mm long and 27mm wide. Refinished fancy black numeral printed dial is superb. Has new glass crystal. This watch is powered by its correct 17-jewel Hamilton grade 987-E movement, just serviced and running strong
