Hamilton Romanesque N
Very scarce Hamilton "Romanesque N" men's Retro Modern design wristwatch in 10K yellow gold fill and stainless steel, circa 1960.
The "Romanesque" series featured watches with textured dials and black numerals and hands. They were catalogued only in 1960 and are quite scarce. This is only the second example I have offered in 20 years. It is in crisp, near mint condition with a sharp case and no brassing. Caseback is superb and unengraved. The case measures 39mm long and 34mm wide. Original gilt-finished Romanesque-textured dial is superb. Has new acrylic crystal. The watch is powered by its correct 17-jewel Hamilton grade 661 automatic wind movement, just serviced and running strong.
