Elgin Huron
Elgin "Huron" men's Retro Modern design wristwatch in 10K yellow gold fill and stainless steel, circa 1958.
The "Huron" has a textured bezel with the hour markers with black inlay and a striking black dial. It was priced at $59.50 in 1958. It is fairly uncommon with the black dial. This example is in excellent condition with no brassing. Caseback is excellent and unengaved. Case measures 37mm long and 28mm wide. Original black nickel finish gilt design dial is excellent. Has new glass crystal. The watch is powered by its correct 17-jewel Elgin grade 712 manual wind movement, just serviced and running strong.
