Bulova "Medical Officer" men's Art Deco design wristwatch in 10K yellow rolled gold plate and steel, circa 1944.

This smaller-sized men's watch has a sweep seconds hand and was aimed at medical personnel serving in the armed forces. This unusual variation has a black nickel finish dial with inlaid gilt numerals and tracks, and luminous-filled gold hands. It was priced at $37.50 in 1944. This example is in excellent condition with light brassing to the bezel corners and lugs. Caseback is excellent and unengraved. The case measures 35mm long and 26mm wide. Has new glass crystal. Original dial is excellent. The watch is powered by its correct 17-jewel Bulova grade 10BA manual wind movement, just serviced and running strong.
