Very scarce Elgin “Clubman 1001” men’s Art Deco design wristwatch in two-tone 14K white and yellow gold fill, circa 1931.

This scarce watch has a square case with yellow gold filled bars overlapping the bezel. It was priced at $50.00 in 1931. This is only the third example I have ever offered of this unusual model. It is in excellent condition with only a tiny amount of brassing to the highpoints of the gold bars. Caseback is excellent and unengraved, with a few spots of wear in the corners. The case measures 34mm long and 27mm wide. Original two-tone dial is very good. Has new glass crystal. This watch is powered by its correct 17-jewel Elgin grade 483 manual wind movement, just serviced and running strong.
