Lord Elgin Stratford
Lord Elgin "Stratford" men's Retro Modern design wristwatch in 14K yellow gold fill with original matching bracelet, circa 1954.
The "Stratford" has hooded lugs with a prism pattern which is carried over to the bracelet. It was originally priced at $89.50 and it is difficult to find with its correct matching bracelet. This example is in excellent condition with light brassing to the highpoints of the hooded lugs. Caseback is excellent,with a few small spots of wear in the corners. The case measures 37mm long and 24mm wide. Original dial is excellent. Crystal is excellent. The watch is powered by its correct 21-jewel Elgin grade 670 manual wind movement, just serviced and running strong. Original matching JB Champion stretch bracelet is excellent, with light wear to the highpoints.
