Scarce Hamilton "Cushion Form Engraved" men's Art Deco design wristwatch in green gold fill, circa 1929.
This is the final version of this popular watch and has a bezel with Art Deco stylized Thunderbird engravings and a flared and ornately engraved center case body. It was introduced in 1929 and priced to consumers at $52.00. It is quite scarce, with only around 2,000 produced. This example is in excellent condition showing only a thin line of light brassing to the bezel. Case has some areas of deep orange patina with violet highlights. Caseback is excellent and unengraved. The case measures 33mm long and 29mm wide. Refinished luminous exploding numeral dial is superb. Has new glass crystal. Has correct green crown. The watch is powered by its correct 17-jewel Hamilton grade 987 manual wind movement, just serviced and running strong.
