Hamilton Howard

Very rare Hamilton “Howard Stanford” men’s Art Deco design wristwatch in 10K yellow gold fill, circa 1946.

Hamilton purchased the trademarks of the E. Howard Watch Co. in 1931, and produced three runs of Howard wristwatches intermittently from 1942 to 1949 to protect the Howard trademark, totaling 1,075 watches. This example is from the second run which were sold in Hamilton "Stanford" model cases with Howard-marked dials, Howard-marked movements, and Howard-marked cases. This example is in excellent condition with only a few specks of brassing. Caseback is excellent and unengraved. The case measures 39mm long and 23mm wide. Original black printed dial is excellent. Has new glass crystal. The watch is powered by its correct 17-jewel Hamilton Howard H980 manual wind movement, just serviced and running strong.

Price $1,075. SOLD
