Elgin Osgood Enamel Bezel

Scarce Elgin "Osgood Enamel Bezel" men's Art Deco design wristwatch in chromium nickel with blue enamel bezel, circa 1929.

This unique model was produced by the H.A. Osgood & Co. using Elgin and Illinois movements. This example is in excellent condition with its bezel showing all of its factory frosted finish, with just some faint scratches. Blue enamel inlaid numerals and geometric designs are superb. Caseback is very good and unengraved, with some minor pitting. The case measures 39mm long and 31mm wide. Original glass crystal is superb. Original dial is excellent. The watch is powered by its correct 7-jewel Elgin grade 463 manual wind movement, just serviced and running strong.
