Very scarce Bulova "Rite-Angle" men's Art Deco design wristwatch in 10K yellow rolled gold plate, circa 1938.

The "Rite-Angle" has a wedge-shaped case with an inclined dial which allowed for easier reading of the dial. It was introduced in 1938 and was priced at $29.75. This version with the black and grey dial is the hardest to find of the first edition Rite-Angle models. I have only ever offered one other example with this dial. It is in excellent condition with only a faint thin line of brassing to the bezel steps. Caseback is excellent and unengraved, with only a small amount of brassing in the corners and one tiny ding. Case measures 39mm long and 24mm wide. Original two-tone black and grey dial is very good, with some light marks. Has silver gilt exploding numerals, tracks, and Bulova signature. Has new glass crystal. The watch is powered by its correct 17-jewel Bulova grade 8AM manual wind movement, just serviced and running strong.

Price $450. SOLD
