Scarce Gruen “Curvex Executive” men’s Retro Modern design wristwatch in solid 14K white gold with diamond dial, circa 1948.

The “Executive” has a curved and faceted case, and was priced at $200.00 in 1948. This example is in excellent condition showing only light wear. Caseback is excellent and unengraved. Case measures 35mm long and 22mm wide. Refinished black finish dial is superb. Has new curved domed glass crystal. The watch is powered by its correct 17-jewel Gruen grade 440 Curvex manual wind movement, just serviced and running strong.
