Elgin "Model 1485" men's Art Deco design wristwatch in 10K yellow gold fill, circa 1936.
The "Model 1485" has a flared and stepped lugs and was priced at $35.00 in 1936. This example is in crisp, excellent condition with no brassing, just some light marks. Caseback is excellent and unengraved. The case measures 37mm long and 29mm wide. Original two-tone white and gilt dial is superb, has gold embossed dart markers. Glass crystal is superb. The watch is powered by its correct 17-jewel Elgin grade 487 manual wind movement, just serviced and running strong.
