Rare Illinois "Rockingham" men's Machine Age design wristwatch in 10K white gold fill, circa 1934.

The "Rockingham" was one of the final wristwatch models introduced under the Illinois name until the 1940s, and it was produced entirely at the Hamilton factory in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. It is a rare model in white, and this is the only example I have ever offered. It is in crisp, excellent condition showing only a few tiny specks of brassing. Caseback is superb and unengraved, with all of its factory-applied brushed finish. The case measures 36mm long and 27mm wide. Original dial has etched gold numerals and a silver Butler center, one of the rarer dial options. Has new glass crystal. The watch is powered by a 17-jewel Illinois grade 607 manual wind movement, just serviced and running strong.
