Longines Inclinex
Rare Longines "Inclinex" men's Art Deco design wristwatch in 10K yellow gold fill, circa 1938.
Longines produced several versions of its "Inclinex" model which featured a wedge-shaped case that sat higher on the wrist at the 12 o'clock position to make reading the time easier. The version is the "Inclinex MB" and was priced at $65.00 in 1938. All of the Longines "Inclinex" models are very difficult to find and this is only the second I have ever offered. It is in crisp, excellent condition with no brassing. The case steps are crisp and defined. Caseback is excellent and unengraved, with just a few tiny specks of wear. The case measures 39mm long and 24mm wide. Has new glass crystal. Older refinished dial with gold embossed numerals is excellent, has slight patina. The watch is powered by its correct 17-jewel Longines grade 8L manual wind movement, just serviced and running strong.
