Elgin Model 1441

Elgin “Model 1441” men’s Machine Age design wristwatch in Veritas metal, circa 1935.

The "Model 1441" has a large, stepped and angled case, and was priced to consumers at $19.00 in 1935. Veritas metal was Elgin's name for non-magnetic steel. It is in crisp, excellent condition showing almost no wear. Caseback is excellent and unengraved, with a few dings. Case measures 39mm long and 29mm wide. Original factory new old stock two-tone dial is superb, has gold embossed numerals. Has new glass crystal.
