Scarce Lord Elgin “Oxford” men’s Retro Modern wristwatch in 14K white gold fill with original bracelet, circa 1954.

The “Oxford” has a small square case with large flexible lugs. With the matching Hadley bracelet, it was priced at $100.00 in 1954. This example is in crisp, near mint condition with no brassing. Caseback is superb and unengraved. The case measures 45mm long and 24mm wide. Original black finish dial is superb. Domed acrylic crystal is superb. The watch is powered by its correct 21-jewel Elgin grade 670 manual wind movement, just serviced and running strong. Original matching Hadley expansion bracelet is excellent.
