Rare Hamilton "Kevin" men's Retro Modern design presentation wristwatch in solid 18K yellow gold, circa 1958.
The "Kevin" is one of the few 18K gold watches offered by Hamilton and was often the choice for corporate presentations and gifts of distinction. It has hooded, articulated lugs and was priced at $185.00 in 1958. This example is crisp, near mint condition showing almost no wear. Case edges and peaked lugs are sharp. It is the finest "Kevin" that I have ever offered. Caseback is superb, with a presentation from Timken Roller Bearing Company. Case measures 40mm long and 22mm wide. Refinished dial is superb, has solid 14K gold applied numerals and markers. Has new correct domed acrylic crystal. The watch is powered by its correct 22-jewel Hamilton grade 770 movement, just serviced and running strong.
