Gruen Curvex Ristside Lord
Very scarce Gruen “Curvex Ristside Lord” men’s Art Deco design wristwatch in 14K yellow gold fill, circa 1938.
The “Ristside Lord” is a true driver’s watch, and has a deeply curved case designed to be worn only on the inner side of the wrist. This version has incuse lines running down the hooded lugs. It is in excellent condition with only a few specks of brassing to the tops of the lugs and few minor marks. Caseback is excellent and unengraved. The case measures 37mm long, 20mm wide, and 16mm tall. Original dial is fair, with some spotting. Has new glass crystal. The watch is powered by it correct 17-jewel Gruen Curvex grade 330 manual wind movement, just serviced and running strong.
