Illinois “Marquis” men’s Art Deco design wristwatch in 14K white gold fill, circa 1929.

The “Marquis” has an elaborately engraved case. It was offered with either a 17-jewel movement, or a 19-jewel movement which this example has. It is in excellent condition with no brassing to the bezel, just a few specks of brassing to the tips of the lugs. Caseback is excellent unengraved. The case measures 39mm long and 29mm wide. Older refinished dial is excellent. Has new glass crystal. This watch is powered by its correct 19-jewel Illinois grade 907 manual wind movement, just serviced and running strong.
