Elgin "Marty Supreme" men's Mid-Century Modern design wristwatch in 10K gold fill and stainless steel, circa 1955.

Elgin catalogued this watch as the "DeLuxe 6728" but collectors now refer to it as the "Marty Supreme" model because it was prominently worn by actor Timothee Chalamet in the "Marty Supreme" movie, which has been nominated for 9 Academy Awards. This example is in excellent condition with some very light brassing to the tops of the lugs. Caseback is excellent and unengraved. The case measures 35mm long and 26mm wide. Has new glass crystal. Original dial is excellent. The watch is powered by its correct 17-jewel Elgin grade 683 manual wind movement, just serviced and running strong.
