Rare Bulova "Lido" ladies Art Deco design wristwatch in 14K white gold fill with polychrome enamel, circa 1929.

The "Lido" has Art Deco geometric patterns inlaid with red, green, and black enamel, inspired by Southwestern Native American designs, particularly those found in the Hopi culture from Arizona. It was priced at $37.50 in 1929 and is quite rare; this is only the second example I have ever offered. It is in crisp, near mint condition showing almost no wear. The case shows all of its original matte and brushed finishes. Enamel is superb and complete. Caseback is excellent and unengraved. The case measures 34mm long and 17mm wide. Original inlaid enamel dial is superb. Has new glass crystal. The watch is powered by its correct 15-jewel Bulova grade 6AF manual wind movement, just serviced and running strong.

Price $1,250. SOLD
