Hamilton Barrel Engraved 14K
Very rare Hamilton “Barrel Engraved” men’s Art Deco design wristwatch in solid 14K white gold, circa 1929.
The "Barrel Engraved" is very rare in solid gold. A mere 777 were produced in white and this is only the second one I have offered in 20 years. It was priced at $87.00 in 1929. This example is in excellent condition with crisp engravings. Caseback is excellent and unengraved. Case measures 35mm long and 29mm wide. Refinished black Gothic numeral dial is superb. Has new glass crystal. The watch is powered by its correct 19-jewel Hamilton grade 979 movement, just serviced and running strong.
