Elgin Thunderbird Cushion
Elgin "Thunderbird Cushion" men's Art Deco design wristwatch in 14K white gold fill, circa 1928.
This large 3/0-size jobber-cased watch has stylized Hopi Indian iconography consisting of thunderbird and geometric designs on the bezel. It is in crisp, excellent condition with only a tiny speck or two of brassing. Caseback is excellent and unengraved. The case measures 36mm long 31mm wide. Has new glass crystal. Original dial is excellent, has special new turquoise blue luminous. The watch is powered by a 15-jewel Elgin grade 464 manual wind movement, just serviced and running strong.
