Very scarce Elgin "Model 2408" men's Machine Age design wristwatch in steel, circa 1937.

The "Model 2408" has a large case with angled lugs and was priced at $23.75 in 1937. It is a very scarce model and this is only the third one I have ever offered. This example is in crisp, excellent condition showing only light wear. The caseback is excellent and unengraved, with some light scratches. Original two-tone dial is excellent. Case measures 39mm long by 30mm wide. Has new glass crystal. The watch is powered by its correct 7-jewel Elgin grade 485 manual wind movement, just serviced and running strong.

Price $475. SOLD
