Hamilton Judson

Scarce Hamilton “Judson” men’s Art Deco design wristwatch in 14K yellow gold fill, circa 1940.

Introduced on March 27, 1940 and priced to consumers at $52.50, the “Judson” has an extreme Art Deco triple-stepped case and rounded lugs. The triple-stepped design is even carried over to the edges of the caseback. The “Judson” was produced for only a very short time just prior to World War II and is very uncommon. This example is in excellent condition with only a few specks of brassing to the highpoints of the lugs. Caseback is excellent and unengraved. Case measures 36mm long and 24mm wide. Hamilton factory-original new old stock two-tone gilt finish dial is superb. Has new glass crystal. This watch is powered by its correct 19-jewel Hamilton grade 982 manual wind movement, just serviced and running strong.
