Very rare Longines “Model 4027” men’s Streamline Moderne design wristwatch in solid 14K green gold, circa 1930.

This large, curved Longines is very rare and I have seen only one other example of this model. It was priced at $180.00 in 1930 and the case was made by the Perrin Watch Case Co. in the same 2-piece case construction of the Hamilton Explorer models produced by Perrin at the same time. This example is in excellent condition showing only light wear. Caseback is excellent and unengraved, with a few tiny dings. The case measures 40mm long and 28mm wide. Inlaid enamel dial is very good, with some patina from age. Has new glass crystal. This watch is powered by its correct 17-jewel Longines caliber 10.40 manual wind movement, just serviced and running strong.

Price $2,450. SOLD
