Scarce Paul Breguette "Tank" men's Streamline Moderne design wristwatch in 10K yellow gold filled, circa 1940.

Paul Breguette was a watch line offered by Kay Jewelers in the 1940s through the 1960s. Most, such as this one, have high-quality Swiss movements housed in American-made cases. This example has a long, stepped case with a striking two-tone dial with black numerals. The watch is in excellent condition showing only a tiny amount of brassing to the highpoints of the lugs. Caseback is excellent and unengraved. The case measures 42mm long and 20mm wide. Original two-tone dial is superb. Has new acrylic crystal. The watch is powered by its correct 17-jewel Paul Breguette manual wind movement, just serviced and running strong.
