Ernest Borel Cocktail Kaleidoscope

Ernest Borel “Cocktail” ladies' Retro Modern design wristwatch in yellow gold plate, circa 1953.

Ernest Borel introduced its cocktail watch around 1953 featuring a mesmerizing rotating dial disk that creates a constant kaleidoscope effect. Red-tipped arrows under the outer edge of the rotating disk display the hour and minutes. This is one of the earliest models with stepped lugs and the larger dial disks. It is in crisp, excellent condition with no brassing. This model has a clearview caseback with a plastic crystal so the movement can be viewed. The case measures 34mm long and 25mm wide. Original dials are superb. Acrylic crystal is excellent. This watch is powered by its correct 17-jewel Ernest Borel caliber 26 manual wind movement, just serviced and running strong. Strap shows light wear.
