Elgin Offset Trench
Elgin "Offset Trench" men's Military design wristwatch in silveroid, circa 1918.
This 3/0-size Elgin trench watch has an original black enamel star dial dial. It is in excellent condition showing only light wear. Caseback is very good with some wear and a faint name engraving. The case measures 40mm long 32mm wide. Original black enamel star dial is excellent, with just a few tiny chips along the edges which are covered by the bezel, but no cracks. Reverse of dial has a date code for August of 1918. Has new glass crystal. The watch is powered by a 7-jewel Elgin grade 463 manual wind movement, just serviced and running strong.
