Scarce Hamilton “Raleigh Engraved” men’s Art Deco design wristwatch in 14K green gold fill, circa 1929.

This is the first version of the “Raleigh Engraved” and has an Art Deco stylized keystone pattern engraved on the bezel. This is a scarce model, with only 1,999 watches produced in green, and this is first I have offered in many years. It is in excellent condition with only a few specks of brassing to the bezel corners and light brassing to the lugs. The caseback is excellent and unengraved. The case measures 39mm long and 29mm wide. Older refinished dial is excellent. Has new glass crystal. The watch is powered by its correct 17-jewel Hamilton grade 987-F manual wind movement, just serviced and running strong. Original green crown shows light wear.
