Elgin “American Efficiency 464” men’s Art Deco design wristwatch in 14K white gold fill, circa 1929.
This large watch has a squarish case with Art Deco stylized geometric designs on the bezel and was priced at $37.50. It is in excellent condition with only very light brassing to the bezel corners. Caseback is excellent and unengraved, with a few specks of wear in the corners and a few marks. Case measures 40mm long by 29mm wide. Refinished dial is superb, has gold embossed stylized Egyptian numerals. Has new glass crystal. This watch is powered by its correct 17-jewel Elgin grade 487 manual wind movement, just serviced and running strong.
