Hamilton Gordon 18K

The "Gordon" was Hamilton's flagship gold watch during the 1940s and 1950s and was priced at $175.00 in 1946. This example is in crisp, near mint condition showing almost no indications of wear. It is the nicest "Gordon" I have ever offered. Case edges are sharp and the protected areas of the lugs still show their original brushed finishes. Caseback is superb, with a name engraving. The case measures 37mm long and 22mm wide. Domed glass crystal is superb. Original two-tone dial is excellent, has solid 18K gold applied markers. The watch is powered by its correct 19-jewel Hamilton grade 982M manual wind movement, just serviced and running strong.
