Scarce Illinois "Arlington" men's Machine Age design wristwatch in 14K yellow gold fill, circa 1934.
The "Arlington" was one of the last men's wristwatch models introduced by Illinois and has a stepped and faceted case. It was priced at $37.50. This example is in excellent condition showing only very light brassing to the edges of the lugs. Caseback is excellent, with a name and date engraving. The case measures 37mm long and 27mm wide. Original sparkle finish dial is excellent, with some faint patina. Glass crystal is excellent, with a few faint marks. The watch is powered by its correct 15-jewel Illinois grade 605 manual wind movement, just serviced and running strong.
