Elgin “Legionnaire 423” men’s Art Deco design wristwatch in 14K white gold fill, circa 1929.

The "Legionnaire 423" has Art Deco engravings on the bezel and case sides with black inlay. It was priced at $29.50 in 1929. It is in excellent condition with only a few specks of brassing. Caseback is superb and unengraved. Case measures 35mm long and 29mm wide. Original dial is excellent, has gold embossed numerals. Has new glass crystal. Watch is powered by its correct 7-jewel Elgin grade 485 manual wind movement, just serviced and running strong.
