Bulova "Accuquartz F" men's Space Age asymmetric design men's wristwatch in stainless steel, circa 1972.

The "Accuquartz" was an evolution of the original Accutron movement with a quartz crystal controlling the vibtration of the tuning fork, resulting in increased accuracy. This Accutron model has a large wedged-shaped case and a two-tone gray dial with the diamond-set Accutron logo. It was priced at $250.00 when new in 1972. It is in excellent condition showing only light wear. The bezel shows most of its original sunburst finish. Caseback is excellent and unengraved, with some light scratches. The case measures 41mm long and 36mm wide. Has original Accutron logo crown. Original gray nickel dial is superb, has a two-tone stippled and matte finish, with a genuine diamond. Acrylic crystal is excellent, with a few light marks. The watch is powered by its correct US-made 15-jewel Bulova grade 2242 Accuquartz movement, running strong with a new battery.
