Gruen Curvex Marshall
Gruen "Curvex Marshall" men's Retro Modern design wristwatch in 10K yellow gold fill, circa 1950.
The "Marshall" is one of the final Curvex models. By the early 1950s, Gruen shifted the focus of the "Curvex" line more to case design rather than emphasizing case length and curvature. This example is in crisp, excellent condition with no brassing. Caseback is excellent and unengraved. The case measures 37mm long and 24mm wide. Acrylic crystal is excellent. Original dial is excellent. The watch is powered by its correct 17-jewel Gruen grade 370 Curvex manual wind movement, just serviced and running strong.
