Very rare Waltham "Packard Motor Car Co." men's Modern design wristwatch in solid 14K green gold, circa 1925.

The Packard Motor Car Company used Waltham and Hamilton watches for service awards from the 1920s through the 1940s. These watches were special custom orders and the caseback inscriptions were etched at the watch factory prior to shipment. This is only the second Waltham "Packard" watch I've ever seen. It is in excellent condition showing light wear. Caseback is very good, with the Packard presentation etching showing moderate wear, and also showing some dings. Case measures 38mm long and 31mm wide. Original enamel dial is excellent, with some very faint hairlines. Numerals and hands have new luminous. Has new glass crystal. The watch is powered by a 17-jewel 3/0-size Riverside grade manual wind movement, just serviced and running strong. Unusual floral design crown appears to be yellow.

Price $900.
